My B-24 maidened two weeks ago and I found it to be a very stable and easy plane to fly. It required only a small amount of trim to get it flying straight and level. She weighs three pounds and fourteen ounces and is powered by 4 A20-22L motors swinging three blade 8x6 HD props. I have two 2200 mah 3C packs in parallel and can fly her easily for ten minutes at half power. ROGs are short, about 50 feet and landings are a breeze. I grease it in time after time. She has retracts and a steerable nosewheel and is fun to taxi to the end of the paved runway and slowly bleed in the power for a scale 100 foot takeoff.
The kit is very basic and suitable for a somewhat experienced builder who is inovative and prepared to modify as necessary to get the plane that looks best for him/her. The kit is good quality for the price and I'm glad it is available to buy. The designer did an excellent job in designing a very good looking and stable flying B-24. I am very pleased with mine and it is usually the center of attention at my flying field. Watch the maiden video on the B-24 RC Groups forum.
