1.0 Contents of the box

2.0 Fuselage

Fuselage assembly is now complete. Set it aside in a safe place.

The Hurricane wing dihedrals are as shown in the picture below. The dihedral angles are already cut into the foam cores and does not require sanding. The 5 panels are butt jointed end-to-end and the dihedral angle will come out correct.

However, due to the limitations of foam, check the elevation of the tip before gluing.

Although flaps are not necessary for this model to fly well, you may cut and hinge flaps according to the 3 view drawing.

Wing assembly is now complete.

There are many ways in which to finish a Wowplane and they are outside the scope of this manual. Described here is a proprietary method preferred by Wowplanes called Liquid Sheeting.

9.0 Center of gravity

The Center of Gravity is located 3 1/8" inches back from the leading edge of the wing measured at the root where the wing enters the fuselage.
For the first flight it is safer to locate the CG 1/4" in front of this location.
The model should be balanced after all the equipment and finish has been applied. This must be the final step. Use the battery location to achieve the balance and/or add weight to the nose or tail.
